I am the damselfly lady, my friends call me Kim. I am a 55 year old Texan sliding into retirement (hopefully) sooner than later! I do some crafts and do-it-yourself projects for the home, but my favorite pastime, by far, is junkin' or as some call it pickin',. Basically this means I search, shop and find vintage furniture, fixtures and other items and find ways to give them new life.,

Sharing, shopping, learning, finding, and giving new life to things that others have look over or thrown away gives me joy! So I am junkin' for joy and sharing my obsession of junkin' with you.
What to expect,
This blog was created to share my journey through the next chapter, with some "learn as we go" DIY and repurposing of things. This will include lots of vintage/estate shopping, fun finding expeditions, and redesigning of found things.
