Hey ya’ll, hoping your end of Summer is going well. I am spending the month of August in Chesapeake Virginia, enjoying my grandkids 😊. But I did find some time one Saturday to do a little junkin’ hunting and found myself in the Good Vibes neighborhood of Virginia Beach. They were having their 3rd Saturday Flea Market.
It was not a large market but the people were wonderful, and there was so much to look at from handmade soaps, to jewelry, to vintage records. I could not buy much as I am flying home but found a few things Christmas gifts to leave here for when we come back for the holidays.
I met Angela whom I bought a ceramic pendant to add a pop of color to my “initials” necklace.
I meet a guy who likes to collect some strange and unusual things.
Got to talk to a lady who makes suncatchers and sells them to provide funds to animal shelters in the area.
Bought a soy candle from Renee owner of Harbor + Home scented to remind me of the beach. Love her simple elegant look.
Learned some cooking techniques from
the mattdad, he has been a chef for 30 years and has perfected a spice to enhance most all meats, vegetables, popcorn pretty much anything you would put salt and pepper on.
Listen to some good vibes music as I wandered through the booths;
and ended my morning with a walk along the beach, and a leisurely beach side lunch.
It was a joyous day…

Would highly recommend a visit to the Good Vibes Neighborhood if you are in the area and have a couple of hours to spare.
